Sis, let’s go to court.
Because there’s a case being tried against you.
The prosecution says: “She’s too tired. Too stretched. She’s failing her kids, her calling, and herself.”
The enemy is presenting evidence: the missed devotions, the yelled words, the vision board collecting dust.
But there’s another courtroom.
And the Judge says something different: “I did not call you to run on empty. I called you to lead from My fullness.” Isaiah 40:29
You were never meant to choose between Motherhood and Assignment. Between Home and Calling. Between Wholeness and Work.
Burnout is not your portion. It’s a trespass. And today we’re evicting it.
I’ve sat with you. In boardrooms in London. In kitchens in Lagos. In WhatsApp voice notes at 2am.
You’re the woman building a business, raising sons, leading a team, and wondering: “Where did I go?”
This is for you.
THE 7 DAILY RHYTHMS: YOUR BURNOUT-PROOF COVENANT
These are not chores. They are rhythms. Covenants. Ways to keep your spirit from leaking while your hands are busy building.
RHYTHM 1: ANCHOR BEFORE YOU ANSWER
The Court of First Access
I watched a senior exec, Chartered Accountant, 3 kids, get fired and still lead her home in peace. Why? Because at 5:30am, before emails, she sat with coffee and Scripture. The world didn’t get her first. God did.
You cannot regulate a home when your own spirit is dysregulated.
Practice 10 minutes. No phone. Bible open. Journal. One verse. One prayer. “God, what are You saying today?”
Use Psalm 5:3 “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”
Remember, Don’t let the enemy have first access to your mind.

RHYTHM 2: SPEAK YOUR NAME BEFORE THE WORLD DOES
The Court of Identity
A client told me: “I walked into the meeting as ‘Marketing Director’. I walked out feeling like a failure because the campaign flopped.” She forgot her first name: Daughter.
Titles change. Assignments shift. But your identity is sealed in blood.
Practice 60 seconds. Look in the mirror. Declare: “I am chosen. I am loved. I am called. I am enough for today.”
Use 1 John 3:1 “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!”
Remember, The world will try to name you by your output. God named you by His sacrifice.

RHYTHM 3: CHOOSE 3. RELEASE THE REST
The Court of Wisdom
Martha was busy. Mary was present. Jesus didn’t rebuke the work. He rebuked the distraction.
Overwhelm is a strategy of the enemy to keep you from the one thing that matters.
Practice Each morning write 3 things: 1 for Kingdom, 1 for Home, 1 for You. When those 3 are done, you are free.
Use Luke 10:42 “But only one thing is needed.”
Remember, Stop confusing activity with assignment.

RHYTHM 4: THE 5-MINUTE RESET
The Court of Peace
I’ve seen you. In the bathroom at work. In the car after school run. Breathing. Whispering: “Jesus, help me.” That’s not weakness. That’s warfare.
You don’t need a 3-day retreat. You need 5 minutes of surrender.
Practice When chaos rises, pause. 4 breaths in. 4 breaths out. “Holy Spirit, fill this space.”
Use Philippians 4:6-7 “In everything, by prayer and petition, present your requests to God. And the peace of God will guard your hearts.”
Remember, Peace is a guard. Deploy it.

RHYTHM 5: ONE TOUCH POINT
The Court of Presence
Your child won’t remember the perfectly packed lunch. They’ll remember the 10 minutes you looked them in the eye and asked, “What’s really on your heart today?”
Your presence preaches louder than your presents.
Practice One undistracted moment daily. No phone. Walk. Meal. Bedtime prayer.
Use Deuteronomy 6:7 “Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road...”
Remember, Discipleship happens in ordinary moments.

RHYTHM 6: THE HOLY NO
The Court of Boundaries
Jesus said no to crowds. To good things. To keep the best thing. Mark 1:35 — He withdrew.
If you don’t put a boundary around your time, someone else will spend it.
Practice Block 1 hour daily on your calendar. Title it: “With God & Me.” Non-negotiable.
Use Mark 1:35 “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”
Remember, “No” to good is “Yes” to God.

RHYTHM 7: END WITH EVIDENCE
The Court of Gratitude
David in the cave. Paul in prison. Both wrote down God’s faithfulness before they saw deliverance.
Burnout thrives where gratitude is absent.
Practice Before bed, name 3 evidences of God today. Voice note it. Journal it.
Use 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “Give thanks in all circumstances...”
Remember, Thanksgiving is the atmosphere where miracles multiply.

Finally...
Beloved, hear me.
You are not failing because you’re tired.
You are tired because you’ve been trying to do God’s work without God’s rhythm.
You are carrying VISION. DESTINY is waiting to be born through you.
But that baby will die in the womb of burnout if you don’t put rhythms around it.
Start with one. Just one. Tomorrow morning.
