Reclaiming your Voice:
"Have you ever felt like you lost your voice—the fearless, curious, expressive version of yourself? I did.
EMOTIONAL WHOLENESS

There was a time I thought I had lost myself. Not just my confidence but my voice, my curiosity, my childlike wonder—that deep, unshakable belief that the world was full of possibilities and that I had something valuable to say.
I don’t know when it started exactly. Maybe it was the first time I was shut down for speaking my mind. Maybe it was when I tried, failed, and was met with silence instead of encouragement. Maybe it was the weight of responsibilities that told me, Grow up. Be serious. Stop dreaming.
So, I did. I became the version of myself that the world demanded—responsible, driven, careful. But along the way, I silenced the dreamer, the storyteller, the girl who once believed anything was possible.
And then came the hurt. The kind that makes you retreat. The kind that whispers, Maybe you’re not meant to be seen or heard after all.
I let that voice linger for too long. Until one day, I realized—I was existing, but I wasn’t really living.
The Moment Everything Changed
It wasn’t a dramatic breakthrough. No flashing lights or big revelations. It was a simple moment—one where I caught myself hesitating before speaking up in a room, afraid I had nothing important to say. That hesitation, that shrinking, that doubt—it was the final straw.
I remembered the words of Brené Brown in The Gifts of Imperfection:
"Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be and embrace who you are."
And so, I decided: I would fight for my voice. For my curiosity. For the child in me who once believed in wonder.
The Challenge: Reclaiming Your Voice & Childlike Wonder
I want to challenge YOU to do the same. To take a step every day toward becoming that fearless, curious, expressive version of yourself again.
Week 1: Identify What Silenced You
📌 Journal about a time when you felt small, dismissed, or silenced.
📌 Ask yourself: Whose voice am I still carrying that told me I wasn’t enough?
📌 Read The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer—learn how to free yourself from limiting beliefs.
Week 2: Speak, Even When It Feels Small
📌 Each day, say something you’d normally hold back—whether in a conversation, a post, or even just to yourself in the mirror.
📌 Write your thoughts without filtering them. Let yourself be raw and real.
📌 Read Daring Greatly by Brené Brown—embrace vulnerability and the courage to be seen.
Week 3: Do Something That Once Made You Feel Alive
📌 Revisit something you loved as a child—sing, dance, paint, dream without limits.
📌 Go on a small adventure. Play. Laugh. Let go of “should” and embrace what if?
📌 Read Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert—rediscover creativity without fear.
Week 4: Own Your Space & Your Story
📌 Share a story or idea with someone—without apologizing, downplaying, or shrinking.
📌 Write a manifesto of the person you are becoming.
📌 Read The Mountain Is You by Brianna Wiest—learn how to overcome self-sabotage and step fully into your power.
You Have a Voice. Use It.
This is your reminder: Your voice matters. Your dreams matter. YOU matter.
The world needs the real, unfiltered, fully alive version of you. The one who speaks with courage. The one who believes again. The one who refuses to let hurt, fear, or past failures define their future.
I took this journey, and I found my voice again. Now, it’s your turn.
